Saskatchewan Wood Sourcing
We have a network of local landowners who are happy to offer us access to their properties where we source as much of our local raw wood as possible. The is part of our Saskatchewan wood sourcing and manufacturing process. We find the trees, often looking for specific sizes and/or specific species, such as Poplar, Pine, Spruce, and Birch. We cut and haul the trees to one of two locations where we allow the wood to dry naturally for a year or so. Then we move selected pieces to our shop in Saskatoon where we cut and continue the final drying process.
We do not run any high volume die-cut assembly line production. Every item we sell is made by hand. Now, we don't want to imply that we don't use power tools. We have lots of them! They are operated by hand, not some automated process.
We are, however, fully embracing modern technology. Much of what we do, much of our customization and personalization is due to our laser printer. We can customize any piece we produce with just about any images or wording you wish.
Local Pickup
We offer free local pickup on all our orders, or delivery within Saskatoon. Local pickup helps us keep the total cost of the products down by avoiding ever increasing shipping costs.
